The Haliburton Spa is by far the best fully portable hot tub on the market. It's the only one to have a heated air blower, aromatherapy, a hard cover, double-walled PVC sides (not styrofoam, blechh! or worse yet, inflatable. Inflatable? Inflatable Spa?!?...Good grief) and to be rugged enough to last for years. It is over 6 foot wide and 32 inches deep, which means there really is room for 5-6 people. There are cheap portables being sold which are really just toys, and you'll just feel like you're in the bath!If you are going to save some money and get a portable instead of an acrylic hot tub, get a proper one that you'll be proud to own.The Haliburton Spa is a self-assembly, fully portable 5-6 person spa. It can be run indoors or outdoors all year round and comes with a locking hard-top cover. It has a heated air-blower, aromatherapy and a surface-skimming filter. The temperature range can be set anywhere from 27C-40C, the same as an acrylic tub. The water is kept pure by the filter and chlorine granules added 2-3 times per week, or as needed (shown by test-strips, included in chemical kit).The eight sides of the spa are double-walled rigid PVC and the liner is triple-layer with nylon webbing for reinforcement. It's a similar material that's used in life rafts; extremely durable, and included in the warranty.This spa is fully portable and easily packs away. It can be taken camping, to festivals, to the cottage or even to a friend's house for the weekend! These are the spas that are rented out for £150 for the weekend. The spa dimensions are 6' 3" x 6' 3" x 32" plus a 2.5' x 2' x 18" high box that houses the pump, heater and heated air blower. This neatly doubles as a food and drinks table. There is no moulded seating with this type of spa, you are meant to sit right down on the bottom, where you become virtually weightless anyway. However, there are two water cushion seats for smaller members of the family. This spa is deep and even tall folks will have no problem getting immersed to shoulder level. There's nothing worse than spending 5-6 grand on a poorly-made acrylic spa and finding it doesn't use a heated air blower, and the water only reaches mid torso!
